Rik Ferguson

Rik Ferguson is Vice President of Security Intelligence at Forescout, helping shape global cybersecurity strategy and thought leadership across critical infrastructure. With 30+ years in the field, he focuses on the real-world collision of IT, IoT, OT, and cyber-physical risk.

He is a founding Special Advisor to Europol’s European Cyber Crime Centre (EC3) and was inducted into the Infosecurity Hall of Fame in 2011. Previously, he spent 15 years at Trend Micro working on security research into cybercrime and the underground economy. A multi-award-winning writer, producer, and sought-after keynote speaker, Rik is known for turning complex security problems into clear, actionable decisions.
